How does live printing work at a St. Louis event?

We settle the art, ship the kit, build the station a day ahead and print while your guests watch. In St. Louis the freight is the long part, since the presses come by truck from our Fullerton shop and the crew flies in the day before load-in.

On the floor it's simple. Someone picks a design and a size, the printer pulls it, and about two minutes later they're wearing it.

  1. Brief. Send the date, the room and a headcount. The itemized quote and a station plan come back within 24 hours.
  2. Art and blanks. Designs get proofed and the size run gets counted. Both lock about a week before the event, because that's when the freight has to go.
  3. Load-in. At America's Center we work to the show's dock and drayage schedule. A Union Station ballroom or a Soulard brewery hall is usually a door, a cart and a free circuit. We test-print before anyone arrives.
  4. Print, then strike. The line runs through your event window, and we pack up around your run-of-show so the room turns over on time.

It fits most rooms in town, indoors or out, from an expo hall downtown to a tent on a Forest Park lawn. If the date moves, two weeks' notice lets us re-book the freight. Tell us about your event and we'll map the setup.

Got a St. Louis date in mind?

Tell us the day, the room and roughly who's coming. Freight to Missouri is scheduled from that date, so the earlier it's on our calendar the smoother things go.
